Trading + Cigarette smoking

There are a few threads on this topic (i always search before posting something) but the responses aren't that great. my question specifically concerns traders (not sales traders) taking cigarette breaks during the trading day. since traders "always have to be looking at their screens" is it possible to sneak out for a smoke break or two from 930-4? is it looked down upon?

any recommendations? i have a little background with candlesticks, a few patterns macd, etc but nothing too in depth. preferably looking for a book under $40. if anyone knows something specific about the new bloomberg book by mark tinghino that would be helpful as well. thanks.
