The books give a great step-by-step overview of the financial modeling process. It is very easy to follow and a great way to learn modeling in excel. "Office Visit"

Hi guys,

I was just wondering if anyone could provide some advice on what to or what not to do.

Myself and a group of students from my school were invited to attend an "office visit" at a Chicago investment bank this weekend. It will basically consist of presentations from members of each group, some Q&A sessions, and a lunch. What are some of the things I should do to get the most out of this experience?

I just had an interview with a boutique bank a couple of days ago. They told me they would contact me within a week about my candidacy. Should I just keep my mouth shut until they e-mail or call me back or should I contact them to show deep interest (or whatever)?

My situation as an undergrad Engineer major looking for iBanking Opportunities

Hi guys, I would really appreciate it if you guys could give some honest feedback on my situation.

I am currently an Engineering (Nuclear) major at University of Illinois and plan to minor in Economics. I only recently discovered the world of iBanking and am now very interested in this field. However, I am wondering if I should change my subject of study to something more Business oriented. I basically came to UIllinois because of their top 5 Engineering program and to be honest, the Business program here lacks far behind.
