Help deciding

I have offers for summer internships at both CS Chicago and JPM Houston. I really liked the people at both groups, both seem to be doing great interesting deals, and according to league tables are both "leaders" in their sectors. I have no preference of industry and both cities seem fine to me. What do you think?

UBS Russian equities

GS Equities

I am interviewing with both GS Equities and FICC. If I can't get into FICC, should I take equity? People say it's dead, but I would like to hear from people who are actually in Trading. What is your advice? If FICC doesn't work out, should I just go for i-banking or is there still some potential in Equities?

GS interview

Had a phone interview with GS office. Wasn't bad at all. Two associates did the interview. Lasted over 30 mins. Both seemed really nice. One was a lateral hire from another firm, the other one was only half a year into it from Kellogg. Asked fit questions first, then asked valuation questions later. Asked if I was ready for the hours about three times. They seemed really serious about having the analyst work the full two years and more if offered a full-time position after the internship.

Summer internships recruiting question

I go to a semi-target. All of the resume submission deadlines at my school for summer internships are February 15, but I see that a lot of people on here are already interviewing. Should I just wait til Feb. 15 or should I try other methods in order not "to miss the train"?
