This honestly is not my profile. Im still an undergrad student, but Im beginning to think this may be my eventual profile. Strictly an educated guess though.

-610 GMAT
-3.4 GPA (non-target public school)
-3 to 4 Years in Sales division of 3rd Largest Mutual Fund and Asset Management Company.

Im guessing the GMAT would have to come way up. I havent begun to prepare for the GMAT, but judging by my SAT performance and natural ability, I think I will score in the low 600's.

Sorta' like "A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN INVESTMENT BANKING ANALYST"

I was over at Vault checking out some of the 'DAY IN THE LIFE OF' -- IB Analyst.

The analyst featured in this piece was a 1st year analyst at UBS. He starts off his day at 8am and doesnt call it quits until 2am.

My question is, are the hours really like this week in and week out... month after month?

One more thing, it would be great if some you who are actually in the game could put together a 'DAY IN THE LIFE' or even a 'WEEK IN THE LIFE', which could guide us through your typical day/week.

First, let me introduce myself. My name is Nick, I am a 21 year old undergrad at a non-target school (Unviersity of Baltimore). Really not sure if I want to get into IB. Check that, not sure I have a competitve profile for IB. Just wanted to say nice site, especially for someone like myself who really enjoys reading about IB and the lives of those who actually live it.

Anyway, I was just wondering what firms have IB divisions in the Baltimore/DC area.
