Dividend cut? Why not eliminate it?

Just want to here some thoughts on why a financial firm should still pay a dividend on its common stock if they are facing a liquidity crisis and need raise capital? Wachovia will reduce their dividend to .375 from .64. Why not stop paying a dividend and reduce dilution with all of these convertible capital infusions?
Am I missing something?

Corporate Default Spreads Question

Does anybody know of a particular website that lists corporate default spreads based on credit ratings?

The only one I found was (http://finance.yahoo.com/bonds/composite_bond_rates). I was looking for a spread over the 10yr or LIBOR with more detailed credit rating information than the one on Yahoo Finance.

Thanks

DCF WACC Question

Hopefully you guys can help me. I am trying to value a company that issued debt at two different interest rates at the same time (ex: issued a 2 yr note today @ 8% and a 5 yr bond today @ 6%). Do I have to calculate a different WACC for each year in the DCF based on the amount of debt outstanding ((D/(D+E)) and the new cost of equity with a different levered beta? And then multiply year 2's WACC by year 1's instead of just squaring the year 1 WACC for the WACC for year 2...

Reneging & Exploding Offers

So I finally get my first offer for an unpaid private wealth job today. Don't get me wrong, I am grateful for the offer. The PW guy says I have 6 days to make up my mind. I am still interviewing for other positions which I value above the current internship. I told them I would let them know on Monday. Should I just accept and if I get a better offer renege on the current offer? I am trying to be professional about this but still work this summer in a job that will help me land a good FT.

Applying for multiple positions at the same firm...

What is everybody's take on applying for multiple full-time positions at the same BB?
Do you need to show that you have made up your mind and will only do Ibanking or S&T?
What is the success rate when you apply for both S&T and PW or IBanking?

Last question, what is your approach when contacting alumni for full-time?

Thanks

The Office Visit

I already had an office visit (2nd round) with a BB. All the questions were behavioral so it threw me off a bit. The end result was rejection.

I have another 2nd round office visit coming up (4-5 hrs of interviews). Should I just treat these interviews like 1st rounds? Any advice on what to do? What not to do? The bank also has a lunch planned during the day.

Thanks
