CLO funds (think Capital Source and the like)

I have an upcoming interview with a several billion dollar CLO for their Credit / Underwriting Group in NYC.

What is the current consensus on CLO funds?

What type of pay (base / bonus / sign-on) should I be looking for? This will be for a summer opening after I complete my third year as an analyst at a Mid-market bank in NYC.

Middle Market PE - Comp Difference btwn Pre- and Post- MBA associate

I am looking at funds between $400 million and $1 billion.

From what I understand I could expect numbers as follows:
Pre-MBA
base: $80 - 100
bonus: $80 - 100

Post-MBA
base: $90 - 110
bonus: $90 - 110

Can anyone confirm or amend as appropriate.

HF Structure for non-traders

If you are not on the trading side of the business, how are HFs structured? Is it research and trading only? Then when you become a good RA you can become a PM? Or are funds structured as trading, research and [insert name of other category]?
