Consulting pay vs. IBD pay

My sister is looking to get into consulting (despite my objections). Can someone post ballpark salary figures for entry level analysts (is that what they're called?) at a large consulting shop (think McK, Bain, BCG)? How much of a discount is it compared to those of us in IBD?

Those of us in IBD who are finishing up and moving on with our lives in June, a few questions:
1) Are you 'mentally' checking out end of May? I'm planning on being a waste of space come June 1 and basically taking June off (unproductive will be an understatement)

2) Any of you planning on using the rest (or all) of your vacation / personal days?

Any other IBD'ers just counting down the days?

There was a point in my life when I wasn't like this, but life as a monkey has made me completely intolerant of:

A) Misspelled words in emails, etc.
B) When sh*t isn't justified in Word.
C) When things aren't formatted correctly and look like crap.

For instance, random people on this forum message me asking for "advice", but when they misspell words and their grammar is completely in the sh*thole, that pisses me off.

For those in IBD: Dumbest things you've seen in a resume?

Here's one I came across this morning from a kid from an Ivy.

"GPA: 2.45 / Major GPA: 2.6".

Why he put his major GPA if it still sux my left nut is beyond me. I was thinking of drafting him the following email:

"Dear [ ],

Thank you for your interest in [ ]. Unforunately, we will not be moving forward in the process with you. Our cafeteria is hiring, though. Can you make a mean panini? If so, I will be happy to forward your resume along.

Who's actually IN IBD here?
