is it bad form to tell recruiters - headhunters one's income?

i'm thinking that it would help position one better for more desirable roles. could it backfire by making one seem boastfull?

i have received a few offers from pe firms and an investment bank. i want to finalise with one of the pe firms.

have any of you had a lawyer take a look at your employment contract before signing? is this advisable?

what approach have you used for negotiating your employment contracts?

Does anyone here have an idea of what is the appropriate real estate private equity pay at the associate & senior associate levels (i.e. someone with 3 - 4 years experience overall)?
Lets say for a $3 - 4 Bn fund, for the sake of arguement.

Anyone here know of reputable headhunters that can give a good indication of total comp levels/salary survey?

i have an interview later in the week (thursday). however, i can't think of an excuse to be out of the office. will need to catch the red eye the night before to make it in time and back within a day. any ideas?

Has anyone here had any experience with associate level interviews for M&A groups?

I would like to know. I've only been on associate level interviews with one bank and it was for their real estate principal investment team.

on a related note, do you guys think that take we will see siginificantly more deals involving private equity players/opp funds buying REITs? will this be conscentrated in the office sector or do you see it growing accross asset types?
