Just had to replace a personal laptop and these weird ass menus are throwing me for a loop...good news is it will still take Excel 2003 keyboard shortcuts if you know them by heart.

I heard from a friend who took it this past weekend that Schweser was an absolute waste of money...just wondering if anyone had any concurring or dissenting opinions, or altertantive study guides recommendations.

Interning for a smaller MM over the summer, and just want to get the best experience out of it possible.

What kind of work do first year analysts get? How quant heavy is it? (i.e. I've worked with B-S excel models in class, but could come close to deriving the damn thing)

Will be interning this summer on a syndicated loan and credit derivative desk...

Understand the basic idea of why banks syndicate loans and how CDS are used, but wondering if anyone has any experience working in this area...what are the daily tasks? what would i be able to do at the intern level? is this a profitable market? anything would be appreciated
