2nd year transfer packages?

I'm halfway through my first IB year, solid review, doing fine but not making much $$. I work at a top 30 prestige vault-ranked i-bank (still very big) in one of the smaller state offices. Lots of responsibility, lots of skils, fixed income side, not much $$ (analyst pay is low due to company culture/banker pay focus).

Getting multiple offers

How should I play this:

3 companies I've interviewed at and will have more rounds with have told me to let them know if I get any other offers. I expect to get an offer from a 4th company in the next week or two. I don't particularly want to work at company #4. These are all a mix of back/middle & front office positions.

If I get the offer as anticipated, what is the best way to notify the other three companies? Email, phone, or mail? What to include in my notice to them? "Company X has made me an offer for $$$$$$, but I'd really like to work at your company." ?

How much do you save per year?

Everyone always asks how much ibankers make per year, but the net gain is what interests me. One analyst I know saves about 10-15k per year.

What do you think analysts and associates should be able to save per year? Perhaps just the bonus after tax? Thanks.

Back-office work

I'm trying to break into the trading field, and I wanted to know what the back-office people do, how much they are paid, etc. (How much it sucks?) Is that the typical place to start Ugrad?
