what to do..

Hey guys

ive realized that i want to make the jump into sales/trading after college. the problem i have right now is that all my experience in the financial sector has been (and will be) more fundamentals based (ie financial statements)

I want to do foreign exchange, or even better, commodities.

I have always been interested by the market, and my brief exposure to trading on my personal account has been nothing short of fun.

fund of funds

How does an experience at a fund of funds compare to that of a fundmanetal, bottom up hedge fund? Im looking at swtiching part time jobs into a fund of funds, but i only want to do it if it will postion me to join a fundamental based hedge fund in the future. if the experiences are vastly different, i will keep my part time job now.

To those who have had experience in hedge funds, could someone elaborate what a typical fund would use microsoft access for? I havent had much exposure to access (through work or school), so i would like to know which set of functions/skills to focus on.

Help needed

I have an exploding summer from a lower tier BB that expires in 7 days (just learned today). I just learned, today as well, that i have first rounds with a few other BB that i really want (UBS LA first choice or HLHZ restructuring). What should i do? Is it possible for the banks to go through an accelerated process before my offer explodes? I have contacted the recruiters already, and the offerer wont extend the deadline.
