I've seen many forum users asking for which are the best industry/product groups across the street. One of the quantitative ways of answering this question requires using a Bloomberg Terminal to run a custom M&A search. You can easily filter out which industries you want to cover in your results.

In the same way, you can find deal multiples, announced premium, and other transaction details.
