Any recommendations for great books on technology ventures? I currently work at an early stage vc firm but I'm looking to continue learning anything and everythng about tech startup strategies.

I'm in the market for a new garment bag. Any suggestions? It has to be able to fit as carry-on luggage on flights. I don't want to spend more than $250 or so, as they get beat up pretty quick.

How does UCLA fair for placing people into the VC/PE industry? This is assuming you have a reasonable background for an early stage technology VC.

Also, assuming one does not get into Stanford would UCLA be the next best West Coast school? (USC, Berk, UW, etc.?)

Applying to Equity Research Positions

What key skills/experience are they looking for? How should I come across in my cover letter? I think I have a pretty solid background for an equity research position (technology focus) and I've applied for quite a few positions but have yet to receive a call back. Not sure what my problem is...any advice is appreciated.
