Got an offer.

I found out I got a full-time offer. Despite all the bullshit that comes off this forum, reading it daily has really made me familiar and well versed in a lot of everyday industry news/language, and not only prepared me for my interviews, but for my internship as well. I genuinely appreciate all the solid advice everyone has given to me directly or indirectly by reading various posts. Thanks.

Offer.

Who is the MAIN person to help secure this during the summer? My MD, my analyst, HR, analysts in other divisions, or the group as a whole?

If you say some dumb stuff your first day (forget someones name, etc), will hard work suffice to bump you into the game again? Also, should you go out every night if some analysts invite you every night?

Guys that work out:

So, probably not the best forum for this, but I don't feel like joining a more appropriate one and I know some people here can help.

I'm a skinny guy, a "hard gainer". It is impossible for me to gain weight through food intake only, and I need to start working out. What is some good advice for someone about to start going to the gym but not looking to embarrass himself the first few months I'm there. What is a good routine that doesn't make me look like a complete pussy? Does cardio have an adverse affect on my objectives (to gain weight)?

summer plans

So, I didn't score the IBD gig for SA. I have been working at in er. For the summer, should I switch to an ops/middle office role at a more reputable player, or stick with the "front office" gig at the small place? I'm afraid I'll be losing out on networking opportunities if I don't grab another position, even in a less prestigious division.
