Accounts Payable links in the Financial Statements

I had a question about Accounts Payable perhaps somebody could shed some light on:

Say Inventory is bought on credit (accounts payable), inventory
(assets) goes up, A/P (liabilities) goes up, but then on the cash flow
statement won't that be a gain in cash (cash lag as none is paid out) from operating activities which would in turn flow to the cash on the balance sheet as an increase

Morgan Stanley IBD 1st Round Interviews

MS comes to campus in a week or so. Has anybody been through their first rounds before? Are they similar to GS in that 1st rounds are strictly fit questions or do they like to grill people with technicals as well in the first round? Any advice on how to prepare? Thanks in advance!

Technical Questions

Let's start a new thread of technical questions for all those about to go throught the FT interview process. I'll start it off with one I received.

"Of the following valuation methodologies, which will typically give the highest and lowest value: DCF, comps, precedents, or LBO?"

A: High: Precedents
Low: LBO

SA Advice!!!Please!!!!

After reading the thread about how a great deal of summers don't get offers, I wanted to seek some advice from elders on the board, and anyone else who think they might know.

I'm from a top target and am going to be a SA at a BB this summer.

On my resume, my "cumulative GPA" includes grades transferred from my previous college, which bumps it up just a little bit 3.62 to 3.7., however that is my actual cumulative GPA, which I explicitly stated. I didn't list that previous college on my rez, as I was told it wasn't necessary.
