Roosevelt Island Apartment

Looking for some potential roommates that are interested in a place on Roosevelt Island. It's only one stop to Manhattan on the F train. I'm looking at this place (http://www.octagonnyc.com/) called the Octagon. It's basically Manhattan living with a breath of fresh air and brand new accomodations.

For those monkeys starting this year that are looking for a real nice place to live for a good price, get in touch.

I'm thinking three people in a 2BR convert (to 3BR), or four people in a 3BR convert (to 4BR). The convert room would be big by NY standards.

Me: 22-year-old, straight male. Non-smoker/drug-user. Social drinker. Friendly, down-to-earth, respectful and responsible. Like working out, playing sports, cooking, etc.

You:
-Young professional
-Normal
-Non-smoker/drug-user
-Financially stable and responsible
-A good roommate; if you don't know what that is, you probably aren't one

PM or post if interested. Thanks.

Hypothetically Speaking....

You've been working at a boutique for the summer (NY) and have about a week left. Over the course of the summer, you've also been playing on your VP's soccer team. In recent weeks, you find out from a teammate that his wife is the head of campus recruiting for a BB. This information is supplemental to an otherwise off-topic conversation, yet you wish to pursue it further.

What is your move?

Company Comparables & Transaction Comparables

I'm looking for a thorough explanation of these two valuation methods. Specifically, I'm trying to understand how the comparables are developed (for company comps, per industry) and used in evaluating the target firm. Thank you.

Business Development Companies

Are they just private equity firms that are publicly traded from the get-go, or what is the structure? As I understand it, they look to nuture the companies they hold more than pump and dump, but my knowledge is limited. Any insight is appreciated, including any notable players in this category.
