 <description>&lt;p&gt;We all know that as bankers we get hit pretty hard with taxes.  Here are a few tips for the new analysts that will help soften the blow:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;(a) signing bonus:  Try to make sure your bank pays you this in the fall of your senior year right after you get your offer.  This way you can claim exemption from all withholding taxes as your are unemployed and your total AGI will be beneath the threshold for tax liability.  Even if you did an internship, your total income for the year is probably going to be relatively small (&amp;gt;25K) so make sure you max your withholding allowances and keep your cash.&lt;/p&gt;
