I have a first rounds with Bear and was wondering if anyone knew the type of questions they are going to ask. Mostly technical or behavioral questions? Also, anyone have any old interview questions?

Any help much appreciated!

Preparing for interviews, what books/materials do I need?

Hi,

I've read and searched around the forums for information on books that I should read but I haven't found many recommendations.

I would love some recommendations of finance books or interview books that I should read to prepare. I'm just a newbie to the world of ibanking, but I've already taken some corporate finance classes so I know a little bit. Anyways, any tips on what to do and what not to do would be great.

Sophmore in College

Hi,

I'm a sophomore who recently got into (undergrad) Haas school of business @UC Berkeley and I'm interested in I-Banking. I have an amateur understanding of what I-banking is all about, and I've heard that it is extremely difficult to break into. In fact someone told me that I should be joining clubs, doing case competitions, and basically working hard to get into the business right now. He said even freshman are preparing by doing case comps and what not. Seems like I should be working my butt off right now instead of enjoying my college years.
