Drudge linked to a Wash Post story regarding a possible Bloomberg-Hagel 3rd party ticket. Acoording to close associates of BB, he is willing to spend $1 billion on a possible run.

Coursework: 6 upper-level finance courses (Deriv, deriv II, fix inc, adv corp fin, M&A process, fin econ/derivs)
ECS: no bullshit clubs, but 2 very, very solid ECs
SA: No SA this summer, already have a previous obligation

-Provided I am a solid interviewer, what chances do you think I have for FT? Also, which area do you think I have a better chance in, IBD or S&T?

Goldman Leveraged Finance

One part of Goldman's website states that Leveraged Finance is a product group w/in the IBD. Another part states that LF is in the Financing Group which is outside of the IBD and lumped in with ECM + DCM + Muni Fin. Does anybody know which group it is in?

Does Goldman have a financial sponsors group?
