Does age prevent someone from getting into an Associate position? in BB?

I am a former service member (US Marines). I was on active duty for 5 years and 3 years inactive.

I do have an MBA already and presently contemplating to get a Masters in Finance from Baruch College to complement my general curriculum (MBA).

I am interested in IBD and currently I am 31 yrs old. Since my transition did not go as smoothly upon leaving the military, I resulted in getting my MBA later and from a non-target.I know that most BB's are interested in direct hire out of undergrad, with little professional experience for an Analyst program. Given that I am older, I am only targeting Associate positions across the board.

Baruch College

I am particularly interested in re-directing my career into the investment field and I am considering of attending the MS program in Finance at Baruch College.

I am a former serviceman with an MBA. My assumption is that attaining a second masters with a finance focus can elevate my candidacy for FO positions.

For all those who are in the field already, does attending Baruch provide the slim chance of getting interviewed by top firms such as: GS, ML, and others.

I am in the process of re-directing my career into the finance/investment arena. Specifically in IB, private or public equity.

I do have an MBA already from a less-known institution. I am thinking of strengthening my resume by attending a program at NYU (Master of Science in Global Finance). The program is in conjunction with HUKST, a well-known business school in Hong Kong.

I know that many of the inhabitants of this site are well-rooted already in the area that I am interested. Do give me your priceless input regarding this matter.

As you all know that I was in the military and completed my MBA already. However, I have numerous friends that are exiting the service with an MBA. Many including myself are re-thinking of going back to B-school just to get into better programs. That would also most likely mean better school.

Do you have info on attractive GMAT score to get into NYU, COLUMBIA, and WHARTON.
