Rumor has it that Lehman SA's will have all offers honored by new CEO Bob Diamond.

Anyone heard of something similar?

DealMaven vs Training The Street Online Courses

I'm a sophomore, and failed to land any type of i-banking or corporate finance SA position. To make something productive of my summer, I'm planning on taking either the Deal Maven Applied Financial Modeling e-course or the Training The Street Corporate Valuation Training. Does anyone have any experience with either of these programs? Also, would these carry enough weight in an interview or on my resume to make it worth my time? Thanks.

Math Major or Minor as a second degree if I want to go into S&T

I'm currently an econ major, planning to major in math as well. I know that if I major in both econ and math, I'll be viewed as someone who can really handle a bigger workload. At the same rate, if I minor, I can have a much better GPA. I know this is a common/repetitive problem, but which is better: Double major w/ Math and Econ (and decent GPA) or Econ major w/ a math minor (and stellar GPA)?
