 <title>Pricing and Valuation vs. Quant/Trader?</title>

 <description>&lt;p&gt;I just received a pretty decent offer at a major HF for a vlauation role. My concern is that I will be considered back office for the rest of my career if I accept this position. Is pricing and valuation considered back office? Will this be a bad career move and should I hold out for other offers. What&#039;s the likelihood of moving from this role to a trading role down the line? I appreaciate any hel&lt;/p&gt;
