Worked 26 hours in two days (ie not much), most you've worked?

I worked 26 hours in two days recently. 9 am - 11 pm, then. then 9 am to 9 pm.

It was pretty brutal for me, and is the most I've worked in 48 hours since my internship began (I'm an SA). This probably isn't even that bad compared to other peeps in corp. finance.

Whats the most you've worked in, say, 48 or 72 hours in the past few weeks? I'd be interested to here about interns too, and what sort of shit they had to do. I was doing brutal comps and some sweet 10K transcribing mostly. It was pretty value adding.

S versus T

What are some personality differences between Sales and trading guys? I realize that they go through a similar interview process.

And, as a whole, what would you say differentiates S & T guys from ibanking. Typically, the trading forums have more positive energy than the Ibanking forums - is this a reflection of the real world? lol

Need Series 65 for S&T?

For Sales - would you need a Series 65 (Investment Adviser Representative) since you are giving advice to buy side clients and giving advice to bank customers?

I've heard a couple of people going into S&T for summer positions at BB's saying they won't be able to do anything because they don't have their licenses yet. Is this accurate?

Thanks guys

Sales - Please educate me

Hey guys, I've read over this forum pretty thoroughly, and have gathered lots of great info about trading.

I would like some more info about the Sales part of S & T, specifically:

- What is a typical day in sales like?
- How is your performance measured?
- What skills do they value for S versus T? (at my school, a second-tier target, they have the same interview sign up sheets)
- Is compensation decent?

Undergrad SA Recruitment

Hey all,

I know that a few days ago someone posted a list of undergrads in his analyst class. Can other people share which undergrads are the most highly represented. From the vibe I get on the forum, it seems Harvard, Yale Princeton, Columbia, Stanford, and Wharton are at the top, then Dartmouth, Penn Arts, Duke, Brown, Cornell, and Northwestern.

How many more students are from the first 5 schools as compared to the second set? And what about other schools such as top LACs and Mich, Berkeley, UVA (top publics).
