AIG Fights Back on $440,000 Resort Trip

So last week we jumped all over this story and gave AIG shit for getting ~$20k worth of manicures and pedicures with taxpayer dollars - but lets be fair here, "it [only] rewarded independent insurance agents who were top performers for the company."

That being said, what is more disturbing to me right now is the fact that they will no longer be using their MSG suite. A year-long contract for a "Club Suite" ranges from $225,000 to $500,000. Although AIG is stuck with paying for the suite, Tulupman said it will no longer be used by the company."

So just to save face you won't use the suite even though the $s are already out the door? So what are you going to do with it? How about instead of letting it run empty you give it away to laid off Lehman bankers...or better yet, any diehard Rangers/Knicks fans that held onto their season tickets even though their home is in foreclosure.

UBS Analyst Quits

Subject: Sorry everyone

I'm leaving the bank now.

'm not made to do this. If I put my mind to something as much as I do
here to mindless text editing, copy and pasting, and getting yelled at
for stuff other people can't/won't/don't do, I would be much better off.
It's 6:43 a.m. on a Sunday, and I have at least 14 more hours of work to

JP Morgan Farewell

Below is an email sent out by a guy leaving JP Morgan this past week

Dear Co-Workers and Managers,

As many of you probably know, today is my last day. But before I leave, I wanted to take this opportunity to let you know what a great and distinct pleasure it has been to type "Today is my last day."

For nearly as long as I've worked here, I've hoped that I might one day leave this company. And now that this dream has become a reality, please know that I could not have reached this goal without your unending lack of support. Words cannot express my gratitude for the words of gratitude you did not express.

My Life

when I do actually get to go to sleep, I wake up in the morning completely disoriented. I stand in front of the mirror at my bathroom sink trying to muster up the energy to either shave or turn on the shower. I can never remember if I've already done one or the other but eventually I drag myself into the office by around 9-9:30. If it's 9:30am i get some dirty looks but don't give a shit since I can barely see straight. I sit down and try to catch up on some email, then find my way to some caffeine.
