Has anyone heard of these guys? Here are a couple of quotes from Reuters:

"We believe we are different from our private equity competitors,"

"Our leverage ratio is so small at two-to-one, that our dependence on debt and financial engineering is much lower than that of our rivals."

They pay above what London BBs offer...

Long/Short Hedge Fund

I'm thinking of giving up my IBD position and switching to a hedge fund as a junior analyst. I would appreciate some advice from you guys regarding career progression and what I can expect on the job. It strikes me funny that the compensation that they offer is way lower than my current one. Is it the norm due to some super upside that awaits me over there?
