Does anybody know if Barclays is recruiting summer analysts in New York?

The app. doesn't list any positions available in New York, but I think it would be unusual if they a) already filled up positions or b) weren't hiring SAs in New York.

I sent an email to BarCap HR but I don't expect a response anytime soon b/c of what is going on w/ Lehman.

probability question

i heard this brainteaser from somewhere and it has been eating at me for a while:

There is a baseball team with a .600 winning record. Currently it's lost the last four games. What is the probability that it will win the 5th game? basically, as the team continues losing (and assuming that the .600 success rate does not change) should I bet heavier in favor for a win?

investment return on ib resume

would it be appropriate to mention on my resume that i actively invest/trade stocks? and should i put my annualized return (about 120%).

I want to show that i have an interest and working knowledge of the markets.

UBS internships for a sophomore

Does anybody know if it is possible for a sophomore to land a summer internship at UBS just by applying through their website? For most of the available positions they list the basic qualifications as graduating by June '09.
