From the posts I have started before, I had an interview with Raymond James for an equity research associate position out of college (UF). I did not make it to the superday. That was about a month ago.

Hey guys, recruiting season has come and gone and I didn't get a job. I didn't make it to the final round for RJ and that was basically the only good job at career fair (I still interviewed for several jobs but in the end didn't take any). I am searching through many sites and trying to make connections to get a job.

I have mainly been looking for Equity Research gigs but I came across an investment banking analyst program that is coming to my school (UF). Its Sun Trust Robinson Humphrey . . . yes yes the banking institution we all know and love.

Hey everyone, I've made a few posts in the IBD forum, and I wanted your opinion on a job. I am a Univ. of Fla undergrad graduating this December with a 3.8 GPA and passed L1 of the CFA exams. Is this a good job for a kid out of undergrad? I've been looking over the threads and its seems to me that research is falling out of favor among the posters here. Is there any particular reason?

Hey, I just wanted to introduce myself. I heard about this forum over from AnalystForum. I am currently a college senior at the University of Florida (I read the thread awhile back about it) who recently passed level 1 of the CFA.

I am going to be lurking most of the time since I have no experience obviously and am mainly here to learn and ask some questions. Hopefully this post doesn't piss someone off.
