National Securities - is it any good?

I got an offer for an unpaid internship at a broker-dealer but I'm having doubts if it's worth it. They expect you to do a lot of cold calling, but there's also a "training program" where they sponsor you for your Series 7 & 63. I searched on WSO and found these:

Apparently being licensed isn't marketable. Anyone have experience with this firm? Or does anyone think it sounds like it's worthwhile? I'm most concerned about exit ops in the fall. I just want to be sure I won't end up at a boiler room.

By the way, I'm a junior at a target, ok GPA, no finance experience, good extracurriculars. I bankified my resume and that got me some interviews.

Internal transfer GPA

I originally had a 3.7 in the beginning of college. After 2 years I did an internal transfer within the same college (it's a target) from one school to another. The school I'm in now is more difficult and as a result my GPA in that school is a 3.2. But because everything is from the same university, both GPAs are listed on my transcript, along with my grades for each course in the first

Research Compliance

I just got a call from a BB if I was interested in an internship in Research Compliance this spring. Right now I'm a junior at a target, studying econ and politics, and I'm looking for SA positions this summer in research or S&T. If I get the offer and I take it, will it help my chances to be a SA?
