Representatives from GS's Bank Debt Portfolio Group recently came to my school offering a summer internship. Just wondering if anyone has more knowledge of this group (hours, compensation, etc...).

MM/Boutique B-School Placements

I was wondering how well MM/Boutique banks such as Piper Jaffray and Robert Baird placed into the top b-schools after an analyst stint. I'm thinking specifically Chicago GSB, but input on the others would be appreciated.

Part-Time vs. Full-Time MBA

Is a part-time MBA looked down upon compared to a full-time MBA? I'm thinking about Chicago GSB after a couple years as a junior trader in Chicago.

IBD to Trading

Just wondering if its possible to, after your analyst stint in the corporate finance side of investment banking, to swith into the trading side? I know they're not directly related, but if you can't get into trading out of college and you can get into IBD, would your first years there be a good stepping stone to trading?

Investment Banking Moral Question

Whenever I explain to people what I want to do for a living the usual response is, "Oh, so you're gonna sit around, make money, and not give anything back to the society?" Just wanted some input for responses to this question.

Wolverine Trading Questions

I'm a sophomore at a non-target school and have been fortunate enough to get an interview with Wolverine Trading Company for a trading internship in Chicago. I'm really excited and am really hoping I get the job. Does anybody have any experience with this firm or know more about it? Any tips or suggestions for my interview?

Non-Target School S&T Possibility

I go to UW-Madison (technically a "non-target" school, however it does have a very good business program). I was just wondering how difficult it would be to get into S&T (preferably trading) from Madison and also what general steps I should take while still in college. Thank you.
