With deal flow down so much I was wondering what time people have been leaving the office recently. When I first started banking I was lucky to leave before midnight now I rarely stay past 8.

Third year in a different city

How common is it for people at your bank to do their third year as an analyst in a different city from where they did their first two years, i.e. 2 years in NYC and a third year in London or Hong Kong.

Car in San Francisco

I will be starting as an analyst in San Francisco this summer. I am planning on living as close to the Financial District as possible. Will I need a car to get around the city or is the Bart system good enough that you don't need a car. Also, what can I expect to pay for a 1BR apartment in DT San Francisco

Analyst Training Housing

If you are going to be working in an office in a location other then where the summer training will take place, will the firm pay for you to stay in corporate housing while you are training or are you on your own to find a place for a couple of months. I.E. you are going to work in San Francisco, but all of the new analyst class will be doing their training in New York
