Accept Offer --> Still go to Superday

Tricky situation. I have an offer with a firm that I'm 99% sure I'm going to accept. However, I have a super day lined up with another company that I don't want to completely rule out at this moment.

I'm just wondering though if I go through and accept the super day, can I cancel it if I go ahead and accept the offer before the super day takes place? Or, does canceling a super day mean I'll be perpetually blacklisted from the firm in question?

I'm sorry if this question is a little confusing.

Spring Internship

Here’s my situation: I’m going to graduate a semester early (December 2008) from school and probably won’t be starting full-time until June or July. I don’t want to let that six or seven months go to waste. What I’d like to do is get an spring internship to pass the time, preferably in asset management or at a boutique investment bank.

How susceptible is equity research to the market?

I have accepted a SA offer in equity research (with, of course, one of the firms that is currently taking a beating on the market today) How vulnerable would a firm's equity research division be to potential cuts (i.e. revoked SA offers) in the event of a buyout such as JPMC's take over of Bear Stearns?

Is it necessary to include volunteer work and extracurriculars under employment history for a job application?

I've accepted an offer for a BB and I have some ECs listed on my resume. Should I put down those down in addition to the various jobs that I have had in the past?

Preparing for a Summer Analyst position

I just accepted an offer to work for a BB in equity research for the summer. (I know this is the IB forum, but there is more traffic here than in ER) Anyway, that being said, now that I'm done with SA recruitment, I'm discovering that I have a ridiculous amount of time on my hands. I'm an economics major with limited background in finance.

Networking at a Recruiting Event

What is the best strategy for networking at an IB SA on-campus recruitment event? I'm having a difficult time approaching the recruiters and asking pertinant questions. I'm getting tired of my peers asking the same stupid "tell me about
your typical day;" but honestly, what else is there to talk about?

Technical Questions in Interview

I'm a junior economics major who has taken only one finance class
(corporate finance) as an elective. While I have a strong quantitative
background, I am much less knowledgeable about the intricacies of
finance. Will I still get hit with the heavy technical questions or
will the focus of the interview dwell more upon my academic background
in economics?
