Search Feature

Perhaps I'm being an idiot; if so, please do not hesitate to inform me as such.
Regardless, while I much prefer the google search module to the previous one, I have a small gripe. I recently searched "Fannie," hoping to find the most recent discussion of the troubled government sponsored lender. I had tons of results for my search, but the vast majority were from the "newswire," not the forums.

Is there a way to sort by area (eg: Forum, News, etc.) so that I don't have to examine the URL of each result to make sure that I am clicking on a thread?

What happens to crappy analysts?

Just out of curiosity, where do the bottom bucket analysts go after their 2 year stint (assuming they make it that long). It seems like the big or prestigious HF or PE shops are only interested in the elite analysts. Same goes (I imagine) for MBA programs.

So where do these people go? Crappy business schools or regional financial services companies?

Such a thing as too much networking?

Vitals: Sophomore Finance & ACC @ a non-target, decent state school. Looking for something to leverage myself into a Summer Analyst position next summer.

I talked with a gentleman at Lehman in IM who said he would pass my resume along to HR. I got the impression that there was a pretty decent chance I'd get called for an interview.

Undergrad Classes to take?

I'm a sophomore at a non-target and (at this point) will double major in finance & accounting. I am currently registered for a minor in economics.

Here are my questions-
1. Do you think I would be better suited double majoring in finance & econ or accounting & econ?
2. If not, should I drop the econ, take some additional econ classes and sprinkle in some math courses?

Here's my situation; hope for some input.
I attend a definite non-target, but not awful (think top 50) with a 3.7 as a sophomore in Finance & Accounting.
