If someone after an internship or 2 years of ibanking experience gets tired of the long hours and prefers a slightly "better" lifestyle as a consultant, how easy/difficult is it to switch to a consulting firm?

Mainly, I was curious about where the Asian Industrials Group in UBS and FIG group in JPM stood among its peers in Asia.

Case Study Questions

Just got an invitation to a Super Day with a BB this month. In the e-mail, it says to prepare for a 45min case study in addition to 3-4 rds of regular interviews. Does anyone have experience/information on these case studies? I thought it was only for consulting interviews. Do you think these case studies will be similar to the consulting ones? Thanks!

To Suit or Not to Suit

So which BB investment banks these days still have a formal dress policy with a suit/tie and which investment banks have a business casual policy? When you post, can you also post the location also because I know that will affect the dress policy. If anyone has Hong Kong information that would be greatly appreciated also!
For example, I know that Lehman Brothers is suit/tie worldwide, UBS in HK has a business casual policy, and JP Morgan in Chicago has a business casual policy.

Getting Hints on Interviews

When someone from HR contacts you for an interview, usually they will end it with "please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions." I was wondering if it's ok to ask the HR representative if the interview will be quantative/technical in nature or if it will be qualitative/"fit"? Or will asking this question make me look bad in the eyes of the recruiter?

BB Summer Internship in Hong Kong

Has anyone heard anything from the BB in Hong Kong regarding the SA positions? So far I've heard back from Lehman, JP, Merrill and UBS. Still haven't heard anything from CS, DB, Goldman, Morgan Stanley, or Citi.
