stop the censorship, here is my push for objective moderation of these boards

the following discussion resulted from the deletion of 2 threads (see appendix)

When you personally manipulate selective threads in accordance to your "rules" yet fail to extend such regulation across the board, you are simply indulging yourself and by doing so you undermine the integrity of a public board and dillute the quality of its contents. A public forum should be first and foremost self regulating in this day and age of the internet and its from those roots that spawned WSO as it is today.

What you are doing is inherently wrong, short sighted, and manipulative. It's one thing to set rules and enforce them but its another to selectively dabble with your toy and I'm sure Patrick would not be pleased. The users of this site are what makes it great and you seem to forget this with your abusive censorship.

When do the perks start coming back?

Obviously market conditions are tough with cost cutting going on across the board with most of the banks in terms of car services, free food/drinks, flying business etc. Was the situation similar in the last downturn and at one point do the benefits start coming back or will we have to get used to more meager living even when things start looking up again?

I've learned a lot from this site over the last couple months as a lurker and later as a member. Really appreciate all the info and everyone's been super helpful. Just wanted to wish you all you guys (and girls) a Merry Christmas and a great new year (hopefully a better year than 07).

Best,
Where did you get your first nice suit?

I'm expecting the first half of my signing bonus soon and its looking like the bulk of that will be going towards my first nice suit. Problem for me is that I'm a pretty skinny guy with an athletic build (but not bulky to say the least) and I've always had issues with getting shirts and suits that fit just right. Even the slim fit shirts at Brooks Brothers are just not slim enough really. Where did you guys get your first nice suit? In what price range? And does anyone have any suggestions on where I can get a nice slim fitting suit that well, isn't too Euro looking? I'm thinking more of a Topher Grace in In Good Company fit. Oh yea and what color, I was probably just going to go with black for the first one...
