FI vs. Equities for trading

Email today asking for preference for either FI or equities trading at UBS for my undergrad internship as interviews are coming up soon, was hoping for some opinions and discussions of pros vs. cons of each. Thank you in advance.

How prestigious is private wealth management considered (my goal is S&T) and are salaries competitive when looking at other divisions? I have done a lot of the background research, namely spoken to a few people that work in the field and read the vault guide and these are the things that I still do not know about. Thanks
