I have an interview coming up for a semester abroad internship with Nab Capital, which is the investment-banking arm of The Bank of Australia. Specifically, it will be with their fixed-income and DCM division. I have been working on the floor of the PHLX all summer in an options trading stint, however, it has been awhile since I studied fixed-income. Does anybody have any advice on how to prepare for this interview or does anybody have any track specific information on the firm that may be of use to me?
What would be the best book to read to touch up on the world of fixed-income and prepare for this internship? Thx guys, any input is much appreciated.

Options Trader's Pay

How much does a typical first year options trader make at a top equity derivatives prop shop (Think DRW, SIG, Wolverine....)? Assume this is just a trader fresh out of undergrad on an electronic desk heavily monitored, as it takes years to make it down to the actual trading floor. I understand that the answer relies heavily on performance, but what is a feasible pay range for such a position?

I need a safe investment for the summer.

I am going to be working an internship this summer, so I will not have the time to manage a personal portfolio of any sort this summer. With that said, I'm studying abroad in London in the fall and I need a safe place to let about $4,000 sit for the summer. Does anybody have any advice?

Still haven't decided what to do this summer! Help me choose!?

Ok, here's the situation. After having final round interviews with both GS and DB, I have gotten zero offers for this summer. However, I just recently had an interview with a hedge fund off of Fifth Ave, and I was offered a summer position, but the catch is that this internship is unpaid.

Hey all, I have an interview coming up for a trade support position at a small trade shop. I was told ahead of time that my interview will consist of "fit" questions along with some probability questions. Does anybody have any website recommendations to refresh my probability and stat. skills? And/or what type questions might I expect?

Does anybody know anything about Alternative Asset Investment Management LLC? It appears to be a hedge fund located on Fifth Ave. with attractive management figures and a good reputation on the street, but they apparently do not have a website. I have an interview with them coming up, which is why I would like to learn more about the firm. Thanks!

Ok, let's say you make it to a Superday at a BB, but you unfortunately DON'T get the offer. Are you guys putting this down on your resumes as a highlight?? Personally, I think its tacky as hell; I guess the old say "almost doesn't count" has some relevance here, but I just do not want to be at a disadvantage amongst my peers if everyone else is doing it.....any thoughts?
