Development Programs?

So I am a recent graduate with a 3.6 from a non target in finance and masters in accounting. I currently have a part time job but cannot seem to get any analyst position at all - despite knowing I can succeed in these positions. I found a few rotational programs such as Texas Instruments, Dyson, and Momentive and want to know if these are worth pursuing. Any exit opps? Lead to a decent MBA? I don't really know anything about these programs

There are a few good articles on this sight if you search for FLDP. Also look into buying the WSO FLDP packet it's gold.

My experience with these programs is that typically they only hire out of school, so now that you graduated I'm not if they are an option.

Good luck in the hunt.

Right now you are barely employed, so yes I'd say a leadership program at a big company that's been around for a while is a good move.

Some LDPs will only take new grads from their target schools. Some will take interesting recent grads who have some experience. It's situational with the company and the experience. As far as corporate finance goes, they are often some of the better gigs. Certainly worth looking into if you can.

I would also encourage you to get some feedback on your resume and interview skills. With decent grads from a well known local school you should have been able to get an entry level finance gig.
