DL to Liquid Credit
All has anyone made this switch before. My liquid credit, I’m not just talking about primary syndicated debt but stressed, HY bonds, lev loans in the secondary etc.
My background is Rx banking and Direct Lending. Could y’all please advise. Thanks in advance
Hi Associate 2 in PE - Other, whoops, looks like nobody chimed in here.... maybe one of these discussions below is relevant:
More suggestions...
Hope that helps.
yes DL to IG/HY liquid credit happens
OP, why are you trying to exit? I am currently at a credit opportunities shop doing dislocation/stressed/distressed HY/Bank Loans and not a big fan of research involved. Looking to exit to DL side.
By research involved do you mean you prefer to have further levels of information accessible that's only available in DL? Or were you referring to the research on the distressed side with respect to structure/covenants/game theory/etc? Always curious to hear other perspectives as I've always gravitated much more to liquid and tradeable credit roles as it seems to fit me more.
Bump. Interested in going from private structured credit, to the public/liquid side.
Why would you look to make this trade? Quality of life / WL Balance…?
