Coca-Cola and Crypto.com partnered to introduce an NFT line that was inspired by the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. The set includes a live "heat map" made by digital artist GMUNK. It displays the players' most recent information and achievements. Ten thousand NFTs have been produced by artist GMUNK on top of the heat maps.

How do we access the NFT collection is now the question. Simply create a Crypto.com NFT account for the user and mint a token on the Coca-Cola fan zone page. A digital hub for the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup, the Coca-Cola fan zone offers fans the possibility to take part in activities and special moments.

The fan zone offers pledges, leaderboards, and predictions in addition to the NFT collection so that viewers may connect with the game and compete with one another. In contrast, Coca-Cola only permits residents of Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates to register, according to an article on CryptoPotato. Despite the fact that this notification was made globally.

The Chief Marketing Officer of Crypto.com also noted that the relationship will help promote the brand and decentralized technology, particularly in the field of digital arts. He stated:

“This year’s FIFA World Cup will be the first to leverage Web3 technology,”

“It’s a privilege to partner with Coca-Cola and GMUNK to memorialize these historical matches that will forever be captured on the blockchain. Together we are creating a completely new form of memorabilia.”

Final Thoughts

The recent FIFA World Cup has increased interest in cross-industry cooperation. Many athletes teamed up with cryptocurrency exchanges and created amazing new things as a result of the frenzy surrounding fan tokens.
