Who's gonna be Twitter's new CEO? Musk stepping down

Stay Tuned with MEXC Global

Maybe a new CEO for Twitter will be appointed shortly! On December 20, 2022, a majority of Twitter users chose Elon Musk to vacate his position as the company's CEO. Furthermore, Musk himself initiated the poll.Elon Musk is Stepping Down as Twitter CEOElon Musk is resigning as CEO of Twitter

Elon Musk, the new owner of Twitter Inc., was spending a lot of time and energy on the social media platform. He will sadly lose his position as CEO earlier than envisaged because everything has an end. On December 19, he started a poll asking Twitter users if they believed he should step down as the company's CEO. He said that he will take the poll's results into consideration.

Surprisingly, 57.5% of the roughly 18 million votes cast think he should step down. More than 10 million users wanted him gone, the final findings showed. Musk didn't seem to be upset with the results. He actually followed through on his promise to resign as CEO. He will instead focus on leading the team that manages the servers and software. He will remain in his current position as CEO of Twitter until he finds someone "Foolish Enough" to succeed him.

When he announced his resignation, many well-known users showed up to share their thoughts. For example, CZ of Binance wishes Musk to go through with his proposal and carry on business as usual. Vitalik Buterin, the creator of Ethereum, too chimed in with his two cents, complimenting Musk for honoring his promise. Dogecoin's price, on the other hand, immediately fell by 5% and is now trading at $0.0731533.

Final Reflections

Some individuals are relieved that Musk won't be serving as CEO any longer, while others are angry about it. But keep in mind that he is merely stepping down from his role as CEO. He is still in charge of Twitter and has no plans to leave anytime soon. It probably won't be a big concern because he can still tweet excessively and change laws. Significant changes are already in the works during his limited two-month tenure as CEO of Twitter. In addition to numerous other adjustments, Donald Trump was reinstated. He battled Apple Inc. What will occur when he leaves his position as CEO?
