Wtf are you talking about? JPM has acquired a shit ton of Fintechs that pays their front office sales teams pretty good. They also wear Chinos. Even the External Wholesalers wear them. OP also specifically asked people who work in AM or HF ….not IB. IB kids I swear.
Maybe I'm misunderstanding but are you implying that the dress codes would be materially different between a multi-manager and single-manager hedge fund?
See people wearing chinos all the time on the trading floor at citi. Even saw a guy wear lulu joggers on a friday
