I haven't smelled the Jo Malone one but you're probably fine - the base is cedar which is pretty masculine. Looking at the profile I think I want to give it a whiff next time I'm near a retailer.

I'm a woman but have always gravitated towards men's colognes. I figure that your fragrance is a very personal thing - you should pick something that makes you happy. I usually wear Spicebomb but will also wear Valentino's Uomo in the summer since it's a little sweeter.

I'm a woman and frankly go with Polo it smells amazing. Really any cologne though makes me super attracted to a guy so just wear it.

If you are worried about it making you seem gay, you probably are! Come out of the closet and enjoy all the hot guys here in NY.

whoever MS'd him is a virgin. I've gotten more compliments from old spice and after shave than I ever did from cologne.

keep on keepin on IP.

also if you buy cologne, do either one spray on the wrist and rub on your neck or one spray on the chest. THATS IT, no more.

when they smell you, someone should think "hey, that bro smells nice" not "hey, that bro smells like he just ate a salad with polo blue as the dressing"

I've often debated buying Creed. I just can't seem to justify it without testing it first. I was wondering if it would appear on this list. This alone gives me some justification.

What razor do you guys use to shave? I use a schick hydro 5 but I think it would be badass to use a straight razor blade. Probably going to try walmart's brand that looks like the gilette fusion.

Straight blade. Safety razors aren't bad but a straight blade looks awesome and like a butterknife. Reminds me of old-school golf clubs. You definitely can't lose focus with a straight blade since it's basically like holding a knife. The walmart part was their generic version of the fusion proglide.

Eau Sauvage by Dior or Terre d'Hermes. Both get me loads of compliments.

Also nothing gay about Jo Malone- their Amber and Lavender is top-notch, I got the body wash for Christmas, love it.

Armani Code FTW. IDK about old spice, reminds me of old men..... I take Axe over Old Spice all day

Why is the date " 1/9/17 - 1:00am" for OP, but dates of the posts within this thread range from April 2016 to the present?

I would... but the truth is I can't sell my soul to myself... http://www.investopedia.com/terms/b/blackknight.asp

While I do like these expensive colognes at times... for me the best is Pinaud-Clubman. Women tell me they love it and smells very masculine. However its important to find the cologne that best fits your body chemistry. Everybody has different skin and chemistry for some a cologne might be a perfect fit but for others not. Go a store and ask to smell different colognes with various notes sweet, musty, etc. Important is to ask for coffeee beans after testing each cologne.

don't you think Neroli Portofino is almost impossible to be scented by other people? I got lots of compliments from a girl when she was close enough to feel it, but as it's so light usually goes unnoticeable...

all good choices btw

Much like the AdP - CC, the Neroli Portofino is very light and fresh - so won't be one that people catch just from walking past you on the street, but I think that it does linger. It's so light you get accustomed to it very quickly so don't realise, I thought the same but my partner told me she could smell it even after a few hours.

Sorry for the delayed response btw. Haven't logged in until now.

Chanel Platinum Egoiste - 1 spray on the left wrist and 1 on the right side of my neck, then rub both wrists together and likewise on your neck (gently).

I never over-apply, just enough so that when you make close contact (i.e., give a girl a casual hug in greeting), the person on the receiving end is blessed with the slightest whiff of the best smelling cologne one could purchase.

An extremely clean and refreshing scent. Bought my 1st bottle in '08 and have never turned to another product. I've received countless compliments on this product over the years, but never share the name with those who ask. Consider this my free gift to the WSO community.

Versace Man Eau Fraîche Versace Pour Homme Chanel Bleu De Chanel Chanel Allure Homme Sport Dior Sauvage Gucci Guilty

There are also some Burberry and Jimmy Choo colognes I enjoy. I just can't recall which specifically. I'd still recommend checking them out.

If it wasn't worn by so many others I'd place Giorgio Armani Acqua Di Giò on this list.

when i ran track back in college, tommy cologne would give me a compliment from every female member of the track team and even some dudes

What concert costs 45 cents? 50 Cent feat. Nickelback.

Burberry Brit Rhythm

"I'm at a loss, he was part of that whole Yale thing... Well, I think, for one, that he was probably a closet homosexual who did a lot of cocaine... You know, that Yale thing."
