Light blue tie for interview
Hi guys,
Just wondering is a light blue tie okay for an interview (actually a presentation).
I will be wearing it with a white shirt and charcoal gray suit.
This tie here is a similiar colour http://www.tiesplanet.com/index.asp?function=PROD…
fine no problem at all. If your president wears it all the time you should be able to do so too
should look fine
I wore my lucky pale blue tie to all my interviews, got offers everywhere. There's something soothing about a light blue tie.
Do it. I rocked one just a bit darker than that from Brooks with a black suit (cue monty with "oh, the horror!") and powder blue shirt and pulled offers in like money. Agreed that it's soothing, if you look into the psychology of colors, blue tends to signify purity or sincerity and stability, even loyalty.
I would never object to such a tie, and have been known to sport the greatest color on Earth.
Come on guys, I think we are old enough to pick out our own clothes...
Nothing wrong with asking for advice. All these questions about proper work attire has taught me a lot. =P
