Wall Street Oasis in NY Times - Dealbook

Wall Street Oasis mentioned in the NY Times Dealbook section today right here: http://dealbook.blogs.nytimes.com/2010/09/29/in-a…

...we'll ignore the fact that I was misquoted :-)

Haha, that's awesome. Do you want to post what you actually said?

I will say that it is ridiculous someone would be afraid to use their Goldman ID because of ridicule. That analyst needs to grow some balls. Maybe it is easy for me to say because I don't, nor haven't, work at GS so maybe I don't totally understand. Do these guys get hit with rotten fruit as they exit the building? Is it really that serious?

The irony is, him paying the $20 for admission instead of getting in for free only reinforces the stereotype that everyone on WS is over paid and pretentious because to most people $20 is a decent sum of money.

The real question here is, "What was this analyst doing out of his cube?".

Congrats Patrick. If you don't mind sharing...how many visitors does the site get everyday?

Regards

Working at Goldman right out of college used to be something you wore on your chest

Got that GS on your chest in the past, now its wrong? What has the world come to?

Reality hits you hard, bro...
