For MM out of college programs pros/cons as far as I know are (comps are first year only)

———————————————————

P72: (base: 135k, signing 25k, bonus 10-15k)

pros - most established good program, analyst-pm (no bs bureaucracy), highest base, the fund is L/S equity heavy, lowest turnover of MMs.

cons - academy is no joke - it actually is a challenging program, lower return rate (esp SA > FT)

———————————————————

MLP: (base: 110k, signing 15k, bonus 10-15k)

pros - training at UBS (more option having SS ER), same analyst - pm structure, two-year guarantee

cons - training at SS ER might not be enough to start right away at MLP, lowest comp

———————————————————

Citadel: (base: 120k, signing/bonus: unknown, 6m sponsored housing)

pros - 6m good housing (worth 30-40k), assuming comps is somewhat higher

cons - turmoil in their training program personnel, asso - an - pm structure (less freedom more bureaucracy), highest turnover out of these 3

———————————————————

Baly takes ug need-based but doesn’t have a formal program

this is as far as I know but welcoming any feedback

i think your numbers on p72 and citadel are too low… both are around 225k all in

225k all in for Y1 at the program out of college??

What is the pay for Y1 (non-academy / program) analyst at these pod shops then?

false on return rates for p72--85% for last years class.

Any advice for recruiting there Full-time? Interning at a BB IB this summer but looking to go a MM after graduation

I think that already past for me, I'm doing IB BB SA this summer. Any advice to get into the full-time process? Do I just network with people and connect with biz dev. Does anyone have general timeline and any advice/resources to prep?

Anywhere from $200k - $1m. Depends on your performance, your team’s performance, and your PM. Analyst I’ve heard $250k - $4m+ as you have formulaic payout / run a carve-out. I have a large sample size and think it’s pretty uncommon to get zeroed out, so senior associate I’d say around $500k+ average, and analyst it really depends on your performance + deal with your PM

I was under the impression it is quite common to get 0’d out given most pods don’t make money in any given year. Can you expand on what you’ve seen? Thanks
