Hedge funders

I am looking to start my own hedge fund and I need to find and reach out to a number of hedge fund financing companies to raise the necessary capital to function? Anyone can help me?

It depends if you have time or you have time and money, it costs minimum $100,000 and 1year to form a fund if you know exactly what you are doing (formation and fund management) but normally $200,000 to $500,000 and 2years, however with just time.

-you private trade for 1-2years to build up capital

-you create your prospectus during that time

-you launch a private fund/family office under <$10mil

If you have time and money you can launch faster, but you need a trading platform or trading record, with just time there are a few companies that sponsor your launch providing most everything needed, it doesn't come for free but is often 1/10th the cost, a public fund costs more and usually takes longer.

If you have to ask a forum this kind of question, you are not in a position to start a hedge fund or run one (honest truth, sorry to say). Its an institutionalized industry these days, not a cottage industry anymore. Also you should understand how this works or already have contacts who can show you how this works, you know what I mean?

Post seed, your best bet would be financing that protects the investors structurally. First loss is a good place to start. The terms usually suck but it'll help you get going.
