3.5-3.6 GPA at a non-target. Am I screwed for EB???
Title says it all. Rising sophomore at a non target with a 3.5-3.6 GPA, are my chances basically zero with no alumni connections to EBs or should I still try to network my way in.

Wasn't able to get a IB/PE/HF role but a finance internship, was kinda late to wanting to do IB relative to the timeline now.

Non-diversity? Yeah, you’re screwed. Diverse? Make sure you’re ready for the hard technicals (counting without using your fingers, show and tell, coloring inside the lines, etc) and you’ll be fine
EBs generally give diverse and non-diverse the same questions but just have the programs to say they interviewed diverse kids. BBs though have different question banks and actually try to hire diverse kids. If you look at most diverse candidates, they end up at BBs at far higher rates.
I mean what do you want us to say tbh there’s 10s of thousands of applicants with the same profile as you. You’re only screwed if you accept your fate. Do something to stand out
