BBA in Finance -> Trade school?
The job market is complete dog water. I want to do well and get a white collar job in high finance w my degree but after 4 years of college I haven’t made much of a salary change from minimum wage despite two internships. Entry level roles are lowkey ass in nyc rn.
A few people I know from HS are doing trade school. I was thinking of going for that instead of a masters after college because: 1. It’s only a couple months of extra “school” that’s mostly hands on learning 2. 5-20k tuition 3. Guaranteed job w incredible pay growth. I’ll still be trying to break in as I do all of this but yk a plan b must be in effect just incase finance turns out like comp sci.
Anyone have any ideas of some great trades I could potentially merge with a finance BBA? I was thinking automotive service tech just because I’d like to learn how to work on cars. I wouldn’t mind building a life around that knowledge if I drop from the finance track as long as it pays well with loads of free time.
