BofA-Industrials.. I mean I am worried

So I know this goes against the spirit of what some people say on this board but being an analyst starting in'07 has made me worried. Lots of people talk about how exit opps suck if I don't work for GS, MS, UBS LA or whatever. So if what I am joining the above mentioned bank and group, what really are my exit opps/prospects of getting in b-school etc.
Thank you for your help

B of A is a tier-2 bank that, because of its size, has some good relationships. You won't be in high demand like a GS/MS analyst, but you'll be just fine.

gettinga banking gig from a non target school was painful enough. not that i expected to have it easy at all in ibanking but competing with that in mind will be hard but at least its not hopeless and there is opportunity for the taking.

Relax, you're going to have a heart attack your first week... Don't be the douche at training who studies when he gets back, acts like he knows stuff, backstabs trying to get ahead etc.

Just do your best, you don't have to go to KKR. I have a friend who went to Gryphon Investors, a couple at TCP in LA, another at Weston Presidio they all enjoy it. So don't think KKR is the end all be all. There are plenty of other players that aren't going to be 10+ billion, but have good stuff going on too.

were you guys like this? I suppose you would hav etobe competitive by nature but were you thinking abt stuff like this

I wasn't thinking about exit opps back in 2003 since were were coming off a weak hiring cycle. the current PE crazy is a fucntion of the econonmy, need for jobs in the pe industry and general lure of good pay w/fewer hours. it wasn't as hot back in 2003 when i was interviewing and all i cared about back then was landing a good ib job, which i did.

the 1st years i'm with now all talk about pe and how they're going to end-up there, etc...

i might be a one off, but i didn't know much about it going into the ib recruiting process.
