Can someone assess if this Sydney no-name boutique has good dealflow or not?
Hey guys,
So i have an interview at a "no-name boutique" in Sydney. Boutique is called "North Ridge Partners". Partners seem to be ex-corporate finance at accounting firms (which here is a viable path into moving into IB). They specialise in tech IB, apparently.
You can find their track record if you go to "corporate finance" -> "credentials".
They have recently advertised a position in Singapore. Been around since 2004, which seems to be normal for most.
However, i'm completely unsure how to assess if these guys have good dealflow or not? They seem to have an ok, not great track record. And it may be possible to get some decent experience during my time there.
I don't think i'm competitive for a BB IB position, so wondering if it would be a mistake to take this position vs others, should i get the offer.
If this is your only offer then take it.
Just came across their LinkedIn. You can contact Randy to find out more about the firm.
bump.
Thanks Woozy and masters for commenting but i honestly have no idea of assessing. Site is back up now...so past transactions are all there ...
"Well that concludes all of my questions, do you have any questions for me?"
"Yes, how is dealflow?"
